LATE WINTER

COLOUR

After the glory of autumn, we look at a quieter, more subtle landscape.  On our West Coast, colour is all around us, but softer, deconstructing in the weather and always holding memories of what went before.

Fragrance

Nose tingling frosty mornings; fallen leaves, wet earth, damp greenhouse, woodsmoke drifting from the neighbour's chimney.  Subtle, crisp, evocative.
